Monteray, CA - July 25, 2011: Celtic Racing Fast By Ferracci racing has wrapped up another racing weekend. This weekends race, round 7 of the AMA Pro Racing 2011 Championship was held at the scenic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey California.

The team’s lead rider PJ Jacobsen suffered a disappointing crash early on in the Daytona Sportbike division, and was forced out of the race on the second lap.

“We thought we had some good stuff resolved in practice. We struggled with that all weekend, then went to the backup bike, and we had no problems. The bike was really good. We did one of the fastest laps of the race, and I think a bike in front of me leaked some water or something” said PJ. “It just went away from me, and that was it. But I felt real good. It was unfortunate, but that is just what happens with racing.”

The team will now focus on finishing the 2011 season on a high note, while racing at the final round of the series, which takes place at New Jersey Motorsports Park on September 2-4, 2011.
